Overdoze Social Media

Facebook
We created a Facebook page for Overdoze in order to allow people to follow the promotion for our film and hopefully build hype and allow people an insight into our views and hopes for the film. We mostly post updated versions of our trailers and promotional material in order to inform followers and generate attention for the upcoming videos.

We also created a Pinterest account, while we weren't as used to Pinterest it was helpful as it allowed us to 'pin' pictures from films that have inspired us and create a virtual pinboard full of photos that relate to our film or photos that have inspired us. This is a much more niche platform than Facebook and offers our film to a new audience, targeting a more niche market as well as the wider market from Facebook. Targeting a combination of audiences like this allows us to have a higher chance of finding an audience that enjoys our film and potential viewers.

The last social media account we made was an Instagram account, this is also a pictures based social media platform like Pinterest but it is much more popular amongst our target audience, it's a smartphone app which allows for easy access and means people interested in our project can easily follow our OfficialOverdoze account and see previews, behind the scenes and updates on our trailer and more.
