Editing
I have been using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to edit the footage together and Adobe After Effects to edit in the effects and character titles. One of the effects I have used is the Ultra Key, this is a form of Chroma Key which allows me to film the actor in front of a green-screen and replace the green behind him with a scene or image. This allows for the scene change behind the character at 36 seconds. Effects like this allow me to make the trailer flow better and make it feel more professional, a result that I am very happy with.

Trailer Progress, January Draft
This is my progress so far on the trailer production, the majority of the footage is in now with only a few bits left to film and add in. I am pretty happy with how it is coming along so far and I'm looking forward to finishing it. I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to edit the footage together and Adobe After Effects to add the effects and character titles.

Location Reece - Trailer Locations
For our trailer, we will be using a wide range of locations. Here is a list of the main locations we will be using and some photos we took while scouting the locations before we started filming.
-The Hamptons
The Hamptons is an estate near to us which has a large field in the middle and very picturesque stereotypical houses surrounding. We decided this would be a good location for Geoff to first meet the neighbour as it looks just like a movie set for a stereotypical housing estate. We liked this so we decided to use it for one of the first scenes in the trailer where the neighbour's dog urinates on Geoff's nice shoes. The only problem we encountered was that the flat landscape meant the top of the hill in the park where we intended to film was incredibly windy so we had to work around the audio issues.
-My Summerhouse
We needed a casual looking room where we could stage the house party where Geoff meets River, the character he develops a crush on, so we looked for a practical solution. We needed somewhere that looked like a part of someone's house but had the right setting to have Geoff meet River. We also would be filming in the evenings and maybe at night so we needed somewhere safe and easy to get to and from, this made someone's house the perfect choice and we chose mine as it was easy to get to and my summerhouse fit the description well as the sofa in the picture would be great to film them sitting next to each other and talking.
-Geoff's bedroom
For Geoff's bedroom we actually used the bedroom of the actor playing Geoff. We went to have a look at his room to see what we would need to change or add if we were going to film there and realised that it was almost already perfect for the role of Geoff. The actor playing Geoff had Star Wars posters and models which perfectly fit the nerdy stereotype we were aiming for and despite having to move some furniture around and add the Overdoze lucid dreaming book and lightsaber, the room was already very close to how we wanted it, saving us time.
